Best upcoming and Awaited Game tiles- Part 3

[You may first like to see the Part 1 and Part 2]

There a lot of games about to be released during the holiday season this year. It can be a difficult and daunting task to choose the best ones but I might make the choice easier. In the third and final part of the series I shall list down and give details about 3 games which are worth the money and worth giving serious damn to. Read on as I give you some information and official trailers of Call of Duty: Black Ops II, The Last of us and GTA V.

1) Call of Duty: Black Ops II: It is an upcoming first person shooter video-game developed by Treyarch and Activision. It would be released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows on November 13 2012 and would be released for Nintendo Wii U on November 18, 2012 in USA and across Europe on November 30, 2012. It is the ninth game in the franchise and is the sequel to Call Of Duty: Black Ops released in 2010. A corresponding game called Call of Duty: Black Ops- declassified would be released for PS vita

The game would  feature branching story-lines. The single-player campaign mode features two connected story-lines- one during 1970s through to 1980s and one storyline would be set in 2025. During the former cold war story-line, the antagonist of Black Ops Alex Mason would make a return where he would be seen fighting proxy wars for U.S during the Cold War while the futuristic setting based 2025 story-line would see Alex's son David take the role of protagonist.

The 2025 section of the game features Alex Mason's son David as a protagonist. When a cyber-attack cripples the Chinese Stock exchange, China bans the export of rare earth elements, which in turn leads to a new Cold War between China and the United States. In this era, war is defined by robotics, Cyber-warfare, unmanned vehicles  and other futuristic technology.Taking advantage of this stand-off, Menendez attempts to bring the two powers to a full-blown war by inciting conflicts between the two. Known locations for this section of the game include Los Angeles, Singapore, Yemen and Socotra.

It has been hinted at that the side-plot of Viktor Reanov and his relationship with Alex Mason, which began in Black Ops, will be continued in Black Ops II.

2) The Last of Us: It is an upcoming post-apocalyptic third person Post apocalyptic survival-action adventure developed by Naughty Dog developers for PlayStation 3.

The main characters in the game are Joel (played by Troy Baker), who is a "ruthless" survivor with few moral lines left to cross—and Ellie (played by Ashley Johnson), a 14-year-old girl who is wise beyond her years. However, Ellie, as opposed to Joel, was born after the fungal pandemic spread, and has no knowledge of the world prior to the incident.

The Last of Us begins in a Boston quarantine zone twenty years after a fungal plague called 'Corsyceps unilateralis' mutated to become contagious to humans and devastated modern civilization. Ellie, a 14-year-old orphan, resides in a strict boarding house, and Joel, who is a black market dealer within the quarantine zone, sells weapons and drugs. After an unknown traumatic event occurs, Joel makes a promise to a dying friend that he will take care of Ellie and help her escape.

Its release date is still to be announced but it undoubtedly is one of the most highly anticipated upcoming titles.

3) GTA V: GTA V is a upcoming open world action adventure game developed by Rockstar. It would be the first major title in the series after GTA IV which was released in 2008. It is set in the fictitious city of Los Santos in the state of San Andreas (Where GTA San Andreas was set, too).

Rockstar claims that it would be the "largest open-world game to date and would concentrate on the pursuit of almighty dollar."

Though the official trailer for the game was released on 2 November 2011, not much is known about the game's storyline, synopsis and plot yet. Also no official announcement has been made about the release date and the platforms on which it would be released.
