Finally, HTC has officially announced that Android's new flavor Android Jelly Bean 4.1 is finally ready to hit select HTC devices. In a statement, HTC confirmed that HTC ONE XL and ONE S would get the Android 4.1 upgrade soon. Here's how the statement ran-
"We know HTC fans
are excited to get their hands on Google's latest
version of Android. At this point in time, we can confirm that we have
plans to upgrade our HTC One X, HTC One XL and HTC One S to Jelly Bean.
Please stay tuned for more updates regarding device upgrades, timing and
other details about HTC and Jelly Bean."
This means that the above mentioned global models are surely going to receive the update soon.(Hopefully, real soon.) Also, carrier versions of ONE X and ONE S AT&T, T-mobile and Rogers are also going to get the taste of Jelly Bean soon. However, it still remains to be seen whether ONE V, EVO 4G LTE and Droid Incredible 4G LTE would be fortunate enough to get the Android 4.1 update or not.
Stay tuned further updates.
